Job Description

Events Administrator - Monday to Friday - Based in Teddington Middlesex - 25k - 28k dependent on experience + benefits - Hybrid working after a qualifying periodWell established, professional business conference organisation, working primarily in the healthcare and charity sector require an experienced Administrator to be the first point of contact for their conference delegates and members at both online and in-personevents. In this pivotal role, you will provide information, advice and support in respect of their attendance at events or membership of their client organisation.As Events Administrator, some of the key tasks will include:

  • Setting up and processing delegate registrations, using their delegate management software
  • Updating websites
  • Distributing regular email marketing campaigns for individual events
  • Preparation and collation of badges, delegate pack inserts and general conference materials prior to attendance at conferences i.e. tickets, signage, delegate lists etc.
  • Providing a supporting role to the Conference Managers/Director
  • Assisting with logistics of multiple events, undertaken by several Conference Managers
The Events Administrator will have:
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Previous office administration experience, ideally gained from sales, marketing, PR, Comms or events environments.
  • Strong IT skills including good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and be comfortable in learning new software packages quickly with minimal supervision. Experience of using Eventsair a distinct advantage
  • First class organisational and customer service skills with the ability to calmly manage a variety of tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Desire to thrive in a pressured environment, be able to prioritise a heavy workload
  • Team player
