Production Line Leader - Taunton - £27-30k DOEManucomm Recruitment are currently recruiting a Production Line leader / shift leader / production team leader / for a global manufacturer based in Wellington near Taunton.The successful production line leader / production team leader will report into the Production Zone leader and will supervise a small line team ensuring products are produced to the required quality standards.Duties will include: Setting up production lines Supervising a team of operators Ensuring paperwork etc. is accurately entered on the computer system Ensure work is carried out in conformance of the QA system Highlighting and reporting issues effectively to management and other departmentsKey skills required: Must have previous supervisory experience gained from working in an FMCG environment, ideally food, drink or pharmaceutical Competent in the use of a P.C. and operating programs e.g. PLDC, PLQA and Fourth Shift. Must have excellent communication skills Be able to prioritise workloads and ensure clean working area in accordance with GMPShift hours are 7am-7pm, 7pm -7am rotating continental shifts - Successful candidate must be able to rotate on days/nightsBenefits: This role offers a good salary together with benefits including, free parking, canteen, pension, excellent holiday.
