Job Description

TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a leading law firm committed to excellence and innovation. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Corporate/Commercial Associate Solicitor with 4-8 years PQE gained in an established law firm to join the dynamiccorporate commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of our firm.Experience Level:4-8 years PQE in an established law firm.Primary Focus:The role involves fee-earning work on both corporate and commercial client matters. As a key member of our team, you will assist in managing and developing the department, contributing to the expansion of our client base.Responsibilities:

  • Undertake fee-earning work on corporate and commercial client matters.
  • Play a key role in developing and expanding the Department’s client base.
  • Assist in managing and developing the team, including effective supervision and delegation to team members.
  • Although ideally based in Taunton or Exeter, remote working is possible, provided you can attend the office for team meetings when required.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Strong corporate experience (both transactional and general).
  • Good commercial contracts experience, including general contracts, supply, distribution, franchise agreements, and terms and conditions.
  • Ability to work commercially on their own and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
  • Capability to build both internal and external networks.
  • A strong focus on business development, excellent communication skills, and confidence in presenting.
