Job Description

Are you interested in working with a diverse range of clients and helping them achieve their goals Do you want to join a dynamic and experienced team that provides high-quality accounting and advisory services If yes, then you might be the ideal candidatefor thisSenior accountant role.As a Senior, you will be part of a specialist and experienced team that works with clients from various sectors and industries.Some of your main duties will include:

  • Preparing annual accounts and tax computations for clients
  • Completing and submitting self-assessment tax returns and other relevant forms
  • Maintaining and updating accounting records for clients
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns and liaising with HMRC
  • Drafting correspondence and providing administrative and business set-up services for clients
  • Supervising and supporting the work of less experienced team members
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification or part qualification
  • Experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/LLPs and limited companies
  • Experience in working with clients from different sectors and industries
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in delivering excellent service to clients
  • Experience in using electronic accounting packages
  • Familiarity with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Sage, Xero and QBO
