Nurture Teacher – SEMHDo you have experience teaching students with SEMH needs Are you looking for a role teaching small classes of children who require additional support to catch up to their peers This excellent alternative provision is looking to add a dedicated Nurture Teacherto the teaching team. As a Nurture Teacher you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students within the schools’ nurture hub. This role requires a teacher who is comfortable teaching a range of subjects, you will ideally be a subject specialistin Maths, English, or Humanities, however teachers of any discipline are welcome to apply. Confident communication and classroom management skills are essential.As a Nurture teacher you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating students who have fallen behind. You will be supported by an excellent Teaching Assistant and will only be teaching classes of 4-8 students. This role requires a caring, empathetic andpatient teacher who is able to break down barriers to education and communication.
