Job Description

Assistant Accountant | Tamworth | Salary is negotiable depending on experience | Office Based This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven, enthusiastic Assistant Accountant who would like the opportunity to develop and progress within a family-orientated business The Company My client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic Assistant Accountant to join their small, friendly finance team on a permanent basis.The OpportunityReporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger including reconciling invoices to delivery notes, coding of invoices in line with company coding structure and processing on the companys accounting system
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Supplier payments
  • Recording and coding petty cash expenditure
  • Reviewing and processing staff card expenses
  • Assisting in the preparation, processing and recording of weekly production wages
  • Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
  • Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required
  • Complying with company policies
Personal ProfileWe are looking to speak with experienced Assistant Accountants who have an ambition to progress and develop within an organisation (there is a fantastic opportunity to progress here!)
