Job Description

Sales Support Assistant / Sales Administrator required for a company who are global specialists in the sale of Scientific Equipment and Advanced Materials, working with and selling to Universities, Research Institutes, Design Engineers, Manufacturers, Academic & Commercial Research and Development Co’s, End Users and other similar types of customer.Due to continued year on year growth were recruiting for an additional member of our Sales Team. We are a friendly, hard-working team who are passionate about providing an excellent standard of customer service and developing new business.Job Title: Sales Support Assistant / Sales AdministratorWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pmFriday 8.30am - 1.30pmFull time, permanent position, 35 hours per week.Some flexibility on home working / office workingPackage: Basic salary circa £ 18000 - £20000 + benefits.Based in Tamworth, however some flexibility on a mixture of office working and working from home.Product: Scientific Equipment and Advanced Materials.Job description: Sales Support AssistantAs Sales Support Assistant, you will provide administrative and customer service support to one group within our Sales Team, You will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks predominantly using Microsoft packages, Sage 200 and SageCRM and work closely with our existing Sales Support Assistant.Key Responsibilities: - Support the Sales Executives to ensure all daily admin including quotes, customer concerns, order chases, sales order processing, case management and any other admin is completed in line with Company standards.- Setup new records, maintain existing records, file communications and cleanse data on Sage CRM- Onboarding of new customers.- Answering customer queries and liaising with all departments to resolve customer issues and ensure on time delivery.- Provide training & support to other team members when required.- Take telephone calls and welcome visitors.Person Specification: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Highly-motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and critical attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task. Experience of working with SageCRM and Sage200 would be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office.Experience:  Administration: 2 years (Preferably within a sales environment)Key Additional Benefits:  28 days holiday(equivalent for hours) plus additional Christmas Shutdown. Car Parking on site. Discretionary annual bonus based on performance individually and company profits. Newly refurbished offices.Job Title: Sales Support Assistant / Sales AdministratorWorking Hours:  Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday 8.30am - 1.30pmFull time, permanent position, 35 hours per week.Some flexibility on home working / office workingPackage: Basic salary circa £18000 - £20000 + benefits.Based in Tamworth Product: Scientific Equipment and Advanced Materials.
