Reporting to our Head of Telesales, you will be leading a successful team that has achieved year-on-year growth for consecutive years and is continuing to grow. Our existing established team will also be growing, and you will be managing, coaching and supporting this team to continue our success story. Progression is really important here at phs Group and we want you to be a part of it.This will be a challenging and rewarding position. Your role will be to mentor, motivate and coach our team to drive performance through effective and proactive customer contact. This is a cold-calling activity, so we need that special someone with the appropriate management style to lead and inspire the team. Your approach is vital - we want you to lead by listening, questioning and coaching our people, supporting with an open and clear approach to delivering and maximising quality sales.A day in the life of a New Business Team Manager with us at phs Group will involve:

  • Coaching, managing and inspiring the team to achieve consistent new business growth.
  • Measuring and monitoring our sales KPIs to ensure we deliver and exceed our sales goals.
  • Planning, setting and managing daily and weekly objectives.
  • Providing guidance through regular coaching sessions and 1-2-1’s.
  • Analysis to help drive the team forward such as comparing trends against performance.
  • Effective performance management including recognising achievements, monitoring team members’ casework and providing support.
  • The efficient management of any potential cancellations, escalations and service enquiries.
  • Managing your incentive budget effectively.
  • Ensuring the team are always up to date through daily team meetings.
  • The ideal candidate for a New Business Consultant with us at phs Group will have:
  • Experience in a cold calling telesales environment and evidence of continuous improvement.
  • An approachable and clear management style - providing suitable support and mentoring gained through experience.
  • The ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment that evolves and changes regularly.
  • Management experience - this is preferred, but not essential if you can demonstrate effectively why you would be the best person for this position.
  • Experience of how to drive a team to maximise sales.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, sales analysis and effective performance management.
  • A passion for developing people and the ability to build trust and respect with both existing and new team members.
