Job Description

Our client, a professional and Nationwide company located in Tamworth is currently recruiting for a New Business Sales Consultant to join their hard-working and lively team. The company provides an excellent working environment, car parking facilities, progressionopportunities and is a truly likeable place to work.As the New Business Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering growth by hunting and acquiring new customers from the competitive sector
  • Targeting specific customers generated by marketing campaigns
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to win new business
  • Develop and close sales deals over the phone
  • Work with your Team Leader to develop a strategic plan to win new business in their region from targeted competitors and customers
  • Accurately forecast and deliver against revenue targets
  • Focus on the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of sales activity not just the quantity
  • Pass prospects / leads to the relevant Field Sales Consultant
  • Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities
The successful candidate for the role of New Business Account Manager will have:
  • Experience within a similar role, ideally within a B2B environment
  • Build rapport with customers easily over the telephone
  • Demonstrates a good business understanding of sales methodologies
  • Proven track record in a hunter telesales role
In return the New Business Account Manager will receive a basic salary of £20,500 with a first years OTE £31,500pa plus regular incentives and vouchers.
