Job Description

Bookkeeper£12-£14.00 per hour (Part time) 10 hours per week.Birmingham, UK. Days can be split to suit you.Will need a full UK Drivers LicensePermanentfantastic opportunity for someone looking for part time work. Great role to fit in with the school runs. A very well established electrical services contractor based in Birmingham are looking to hire an experienced Bookkeeper to join their expanding team, preferably that has experience of working with Profit & Loss (P&L) and statement accounts.They have achieved great things since their beginnings, business is looking healthy and they are on track to achieve their 5 year business goals.As the Bookkeeper, the purpose of the role is to manage the business day to day accounts reporting into the Managing Director with all P&L monthly reports.Duties: Send invoices to clients, whilst updating the internal CRM system, Answer calls from clients that are in relation to any financial aspect of the business Report expenses and log within the internal systems Provide a P&L report on a monthly basis to include details on expenditure, incoming and outgoing monies Sending statement of accounts to clients Raising invoices and chasing outstanding money from clientsAbout you:As the Bookkeeper, you will be analytically focused on achieving results when dealing with client accounts and love the buzz of a family orientated business that has a great culture that brings positivity and smiles.In addition to the above you will be great at Multitasking as no day is the same Finding solutions in ways to increase and maintain the company accounts. Organising, as this is a part time role so managing your days is crucial Excel to keep accounts of any monies in and out Communicating with both client and team members. Drivingyoull need to drive and have own car.Experience of the following would be desirable: P&L reports, this is not essential but would be so desirable. Have worked as a Bookkeeper or worked in accounts/credit control.
