Job Description

Are you an experienced Financial Administrator with an interest in accounts and tax Do you enjoy working with Excel whilst utilising your well-developed organisational skillsDue to further growth, Transparent is actively seeking a Tax Administrator to work for a high-tech, global business. Reporting into the Tax Manager, your role will form part of the team that supports with tax administration.This role would suit a highly organised individual with a good attention to detail, and at least 5 years’ experience in a financial administrative capacity.Duties of the role will include:- Assisting with monthly/quarterly tax returns to include: generation of monthly reports, timely and accurate submission of returns, confirming receipt of payments by relevant tax authorities- Review and processing of monthly sales tax adjustment journals- Assisting the finance team with the trial and development of new system processes- Resolving queries in relation to global sales tax and UK VAT- Processing and checking of invoices and liaising with customers- Providing additional support to the finance team during the month-end process- Other administrative/bookkeeping tasks as requiredThe Person:- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office to include Excel- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail- A keen desire to continuously learn and develop your existing skill-set- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities- Strong financial administrative experienceIn return, our client is offering a competitive salary together with excellent benefits which include hybrid working, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, social calendar activities, bonus scheme and pension.Should this sound like your ideal next role, please contact Samantha Harris for further information.
