Technical ManagerYolk Recruitment have exclusively partnered up long standing engineering company who are looking to recruit a Technical Manager. The company is particularly dedicated to intricately calibrating and restoring precision across a broad spectrum of test andmeasurement equipment used across industries like aerospace, engineering, automotive, telecommunications, power generation, and manufacturing.My client is seeking a Technical Manager to work in the Thermodynamics department and be responsible for testing and calibration of pressure measurement equipment.This is what youll be doing:

Actively involved in the calibration and repair of a broad range of off-shelf and bespoke test and measurement equipment.
Determining methods of calibrating and testing bespoke equipment, optimising and increase laboratory capability.
Develop new calibration and test procedures.
Continuous improvement and audit of procedures.
Root cause analysis activities.
Manage risk within the engineer laboratories.
Generating related reports, certifications and documents.

And this is what youll need:

Practical engineering lab skills.
Electrical/electronics background.
Knowledge of test/calibration.
HNC in Engineering (or equivalent).
