Job Description

Credit Control Administrator 12 Month Fixed Term Contract NantgarwHybrid Working £22,000 + Benefits My client, a well-established manufacturing company situated on the outskirts of Cardiff are seeking a credit control administrator to come in and join their friendly team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.As a business they are growing from strength to strength and a s a result they are recruiting a credit control administrator to come in and support their team with internal credit control queries. These are exciting times to be joining the organisation andthe successful candidate will work and report into the Credit Control Manager on a day to day basis.As the administrator, you will play an integral part in the credit control team, taking full ownership and responsibility for assigned accounts on the sales ledger with assistance from the team.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Review aged debtors report for overdue accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal departments
  • Proactively investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Log all activity relating to customers on their database system
  • Work with the transactions team to ensure credit notes are raised
  • Work towards targets and KPIs to reduce overall debt with the Team
  • Occasional travel to other sites may be required
Person specification:
  • Previous sales ledger/credit control experience highly advantageous
  • Excellent numeric and literacy skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent accuracy with figures and calculations
  • Friendly and polite telephone manner
  • Calmness under pressure with an organised and methodical approach
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be looking to take their sales ledger/credit control experience to the next level. Long-term, for the right individual a permanent contractmay even be offeredHours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm but they can be flexible with start/finish times. There is on-site parking available. Initially the role will be office based whilst training, however when you are up and running they are offering a hybrid workingopportunity. 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, all equipment to be provided.
