Job Description

Job Title: Personal Trainer/Gym Instructor (Regional Role)Location: Carmarthen and Port Talbot, UK - hybrid & flexible workingCompensation: £25,856 rising to £26,396 after probation period + benefitsRole Type: Full time / PermanentThe role: Regional Trainer

  • You will be assisting in the education, development and assessment of the next generation of Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors in achieving apprenticeships.
  • You will support individuals in undertaking level 2, 3 and 4 apprenticeships through a blend of face-to-face and online sessions.
  • Using your knowledge and experience you will be able to train, assess and progress learners in-line with the Awarding Body code of practice.
  • Diary management, maintenance and record of Continuous Professional Development, alongside maintenance of documentation within e-portfolio system.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • L2 Maths, English and ICT (essential)
  • Industry relevant qualifications, e.g. (Personal Training or Gym Instructing) HND or NVQs
  • CAVA qualification or desire to achieve
  • UK Driver License (highly desirable) - travel component across defined area
