Job Description

Reporting to Area Manager.   • Leading from the front to develop new business alongside your team, by contacting potential clients on a regular basis, by phone, email and visiting face to face
  • Increasing brand awareness for the company within the education sector and community
  • Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure high levels of satisfaction and to act on feedback, resolving customer problems as needed
  • Ensuring strict adherence to TeacherActive compliance standards
  • Assessing local and regional market conditions and identifying opportunities
  • Drafting forecasts and business plans, managing budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives
  • Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities or achieve goals
  • Developing and implementing branch sales strategy
  • Conducting regular sales and operations meetings with your team
  • Adding to your headcount to build the best possible team
  • Recognising employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment
  • Working with our L&D team, to ensure all staff receive the highest possible development
  • Evaluating team and individual performance, providing feedback and coaching as appropriate
  • Reflecting on your own performance to continually improve your knowledge, skills
The experience and skills that will help you hit the ground running are:
  • Management and strong recruitment experience in education (or a related sector, such as healthcare)
  • Proven track record of exceeding growth and GP targets
  • Evidence of recruiting and developing high performing teams
  • Ability to drive strong activity levels
  • Previous work within a high compliance sector
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Outstanding organisation skills and strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills
The rewardsTeacherActive promote a culture of reward and recognition. The initial basic salary is dependant on experience but if a Branch Manager joined us on a basic salary of 40k, it is very realistic to increase that basic salary to 60k through achieving targetsset, over a 4 year period.
