Job Description

Employer description:RO Surfaces is a run family business, providing a personal, quality service across the North East. We cover a vast range of fabricating and fitting, including worktops, windowsills, shower panels, splashbacks, bar countertops and TV stands.We supply an extensive range of materials to suit your design requirementssuch as Granites, Quartz,Porcelains, Sintered and Solid Surfaces. We can ensureyou that we have a product tailored to everybody.Our objective is to take over our social media accounts to create a wider audience and more engagement with the ultimate goal of bringing in more customers.Overview:Help launch of 3 new products all individually managed. 1st will be January time the other 2 may be later in 2022. Office / showroom based in Swalwell.Main responsibilities:In this apprenticeship you will exposed to many areas of Marketing which will include (but wont be limited to):

  • Digital advertising
  • PPC
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Display advertising
  • Digital Product and Web management
  • Website performance
  • Campaign support & tracking
  • Third party advertising
  • Competitor analysis
  • Digital brand management
  • Social media management
Desired skills and Personal qualities:We are looking for a bright, self-motivated candidate with a positive attitude.The following skills would be beneficial:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of common social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
