This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Structural Engineer to join a well established and successful construction products manufacturing company and provide design support for its current range of products specified into major building works acrossthe UK.As the Structural Engineer you will be responsible for load assessment on manufactured products using based on Architects and Structural Engineers drawings, specifying both standard and custom-made items and the design of special steel lintels and windpostsincluding the preparation of detailed sketches and drawings for approval using AutoCAD or/and Solidworks.Other key responsibilities will include providing hand and software calculations including FEA, conducting spot checks on products in manufacture and questioning the structural integrity whilst providing technical customer service both internally and externallyand attending design meetings and sites to develop customer relationships.As the Structural Engineer you will possess a 2:1 Degree from an Engineering related discipline such as Structural or Civil Engineering and possess experience working with traditional materials such as masonry, steel and concrete.You will also have experience of delivering commercial structural projects and the ability to read approval, construction and manufacturing drawings.On offer is an attractive basic salary, an excellent holiday entitlement, staff bonus and incentive schemes and a number of well being initiatives,
