Job Description

Our client, Derbyshire County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its adult Personalisation and Prevention service with roles based in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire with great links to the West Midlands, Nottingham, Leicester etc.These roles will last at least 3 months and they will offer around £34 umbrella for social workers with good experience in the field.There is a hybrid working model in place.The role will involve the following:

  • You will be working with clients including older adults, adults with a physical or learning disability, substance misuse issues, homelessness etc.
  • The service covers people who live in the community, residential and nursing establishments, and will also include facilitating safe and timely discharges from hospital settings
  • Case management including assessments under the Care Act, reviews, Safeguarding investigations etc.
Requirements of the role:
  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • You will need to have post-qualified experience working in adult social care including complex case work, safeguarding etc.
