One of our long-standing structural steel clients is looking for Welding engineer with a strong Quality background to drive the implementation of quality processes and procedures.The position will require someone to coordinate all welding documentation as well as work with the inspectors to ensure all welding on site meets with all regulation and is of the highest quality and safety possible. It will also involve managing all technical concerns and liaising with any service providers dealing with the quality and safety of welding within the workshop. Preparing documentation including: WPS, WPQR, Welders certificates, Welding Plans, WeldLogs, NDT reports , Di- mension measurement, PPAP documentation etc.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will hold the CSWIP 3:1 qualification and have a high technical understanding of welding safety and procedures. They will be able to keep up to date with any changes in legislation and ensure these are effectively rolled out across the business.
