Job Description

Position: Project Engineer Position Seniority: Mid-Senior levelLocation: Swadlincote, hybrid work available Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5pm / Friday 8:00am -4:30pm Salary: Starting from £45,000 - DOEGi Group are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join a very well established company based in Swadlincote to their team and help oversee the development of their engineering projects. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong backgroundin engineering, project management, and technical analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle from conception to completion, including developing plans, budgets, and timelines, as well as monitoring progress andensuring that all goals are met.They are a steel fabrication company, that operates across many sectors. Previous experience in secondary steelwork would be preferable but not essential.Benefits:

  • Salary starting from £45,000 DOE
  • Hybrid working available.
  • Working Monday to Friday 8am -5pm (2430pm finish on Friday)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans and timelines.
  • Lead engineering teams in the development of new products and services.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects.
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders.
