Do you want to make 2023 the year that you found a worthwhile career Well, look no further!Here at Clipper Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Health & Safety and Facilities Manager to join our Distribution Centre site in SwadlincoteDE11 0BBClipper Logistics is now part of GXO, the worlds largest pure-play contract logistics provider and one of the leading retail fulfilment businesses in the UK.Reporting to General Manager, you will typically work Monday till Friday - 40 hrs per week.Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer salary of up to£51,000per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays) as well as the option to buy additional days. You will have access to a variety of high street discounts via Perkbox,access to Wagestream, a workplace pension and many other perks.What youll do on a typical day:As a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager you will maintain and improve our excellent safety performance by providing professional site Health & Safety advice to site management which ensures legal compliance, improves our safety standards, and ensureswe are recognised as a responsible employer. You will also support sites in the cost-effective delivery of facilities / maintenance services, with least disruption to site activities.Experience required for the role:

  • 2 years H&S Management Experience
  • Facilities management experience
  • Sound knowledge of H&S legislation, policies and procedures
  • NEBOSH GC Minimum and Manual Handling TTT qualification
  • Ability to create a positive and safe environment for the site
  • Risk assessment and SWP creation, development, and maintenance
