Part-Time & Full-Time available£10.50 - £12.50ph Some Flexibility in work hours We are looking for a reliable handyperson/maintenance person to undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for general maintenance in the Swadlincote area, with callouts as required to other sites. A company van will be provided for all remote tasks. The position also includes fitting/installation tasks; training will be provided.Example Tasks (but not limited to):- General small repairs - Lock replacements- Minor building fabric repairs, walls, skirting boards, doors etc- Minor decorating tasks- Minor plumbing repairs, including drain blockages- Electrical Works/repairs if possible. - Landscaping as required- Delivering/inspecting goods at sites as requiredPerson Specification- Experience in building maintenance and handyman duties- Good understanding of health and safety requirements - Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management- Fault-finding abilities are essential- Confident in working independently on your initiative- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team- Able to do the job right and do it right the first time within a pre-determined timescale- Willingness to undertake training- Wanting to achieve success for themselves, the business and the customer- Flexible approach to work and working hours Applicants must have a driving license.
