Job Description

Job Profile for Graduate Project Engineer - RE190508BGraduate Project Engineer required. My client are an international leader in manufacturing polymer sealing solutions to many industries. They are now looking to expand their airframe and aero-engine seal manufacturing team with a GraduateProject Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Project Engineering, ideally with some industry experience, will be degree qualified and will be based locally to Swadlincote.Graduate Project Engineer Position Overview

  • Assist in the management of engineering projects from cradle to grave
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation within the job holders responsibilities.
Graduate Project Engineer Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience in a Graduate Project Engineering role
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems
  • Proficient in delivering reports and documents as required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Based with a commutable distance of Swadlincote
Graduate Project Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
  • Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 12:30
  • 28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Pension
