Job Description

Role: Finance OfficerLocation: DerbyshireType: Temporary - 3-4 monthsSalary: £11 and £13 per hour + holiday paySellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer for our Public Sector client based in Derbyshire.

  • The post holder will have the primary point of contact for both internal and external parties for delivery of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Key responsibilities for the Finance Officer are;
  • Full management of the accounts receivable, payable and sundry debtor functions
  • Providing advice to accounts receivable and payable advice to the organisation including training as required
  • Preparing all legal documents for outstanding invoices
  • Completing performance reporting when required
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with updating the Finance System
The Ideal candidate for the Finance Officer will have;
  • Practice within a finance department
  • Experience in liaising with stakeholders
  • Financial Qualification
  • Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work with some initiative and little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
