Page Personnel are delighted to be working alongside a Public Sector and Government organisation based in Swadlincote in their search for a permanent Finance Assistant, an ideal opportunity for someone looking for stability and progression within an organisation.Client DetailsOur client is a highly reputable Public Sector and Government organisation based in Swadlincote, commutable from both Burton-on-Trent and South Nottingham. They are a progressive company that are recognised for investing in their workforce and giving backto the community. The successful candidate can expect to be welcomed into a supportive working environment that encourages their development.DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Finance Assistant is to provide support in the day-to-day management of the purchase ledger, accounts payable and sundry debtor functions. The Finance Assistant will be the primary point of contact for both internal andexternal stakeholders relevant to the functions and will be reporting directly to the Exchequer Manager. Other duties of the Finance Assistant will include managing the income allocation, complete performance reporting, and other ad hoc finance administrationduties.ProfileThe successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working in a Finance environment (essential)
  • Have good spoken and written communication as well as good interpersonal skills (essential)
  • Be able to work to deadlines (essential)
  • Have experience working in accounts receivable/ accounts payable (desirable)
  • Be undertakint their AATs (desirable)
Job OfferFor the right candidate, our client is looking to offer a starting salary of £20,444 + a permanent opportunity within an organisation that can offer them stability and progression + study support + 25 days annual leave (not including bank holidays) + generouspension contribution + hybrid, flexible working of 3 days working at home 2 days in the office + other voluntary benefits.
