Position: Course Leader (Tutor)Engineering salary circa £36k which includes market rate supplements and CPD initiativesLocation: Stephen Burke Construction Academy, SwadlincoteHours: Full Time - 37 hours per weekSalary:Circa £36,500, pay award pendingWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a qualified, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Engineering team to deliver and lead on a range of full-time programmes.Applicants will require working knowledge and experience within the areas of Engineering and Manufacture with a focus on machining, CNC experience would be desirable. The successful candidate will teach across a range of Engineering courses and modules alignedto their occupational skillset in-order to deliver high quality provision to our learners. In this role the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative teaching and learning, coupled with excellent communication skills to motivate and guidelearners to succeed.Applicants will ideally hold a relevant Higher Education qualification Engineering or related subjects and have industrial experience alongside an appropriate teaching and assessing qualifications.
