Macildowie are actively recruiting for a Design Engineer based in Swadlincote for a well established global company.This is a full time permanent position looking to start as soon as possible - interviews taking place week commencing 22nd March and 29th March.Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:45/08:15 start to 16:30 /17:00 finish (will finish at 12:30/13:00 on a Friday). Salary is based between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. The ideal candidate is someone who has an engineering background, experienced in product development engineering from concept to commercialisation, including new product introduction. Will be responsible for overseeing the tooling process. Has experience in tooling previously and ideally worked with composite and polymer materials but not essential. Will need to be familiar with AS9100 design process requirements and experience using a CAD system - this company uses Catvia V5 but this can be trained. Must be flexible to assist with other duties within the team when required.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
