Job Description

Job Title: Temporary Credit Control SpecialistWorking Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break)Salary: £13 per hourPertemps is pleased to collaborate with our esteemed client, based in Swadlincote, to recruit a skilled and professional Temporary Credit Control Specialist. This role requires an individual who can efficiently manage credit control activities, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments.Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact customers via phone and email to pursue overdue payments.
  • Provide accurate and timely copies of invoices, credits, statements, and allocations.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal personnel to resolve any invoice payment issues.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in credit control.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a standalone credit control role, exhibiting a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Competency in utilizing large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Confidence in effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
