Company Accountant Maternity Cover 12 months. £30K SF Recruitment are hiring for Company Accountant/Manager to cover 12 Month Maternity Leave. This is a great opportunity to work with a family owned business and market leader in the distribution industry. Based in South Derbyshire this will be office basedworking Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm. Main responsibilities will include: - Provide strong financial reporting integrity and analytical review of financial results, ensuring proper maintenance of all general ledger accounts and financial transactions - Credit control - Processing weekly supplier payment run - Raising purchase orders - Supplier Statement reconciliations - Monitor and maintain the Finance email box - Processing employee expenses - Creating new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details - Process invoices ensuring correct nominal ledger coding - Prepare monthly financial statements, for management review and for bank reporting, and coordinate annual audit - Work closely with operations to provide financial support to establish finance and administrative systems - Responsible for cash and cash reporting, receivables and vendor payments - Supporting with the annual external audit For this role, the client is open to QBE and part or fully qualified AAT candidates. The role would be well suited to an existing Assistant Accountant, or a Finance Manager looking to expand there skills, or an existing Company Accountant with good experiencegained in a fast paced SME. The businesses utilise Quickbooks as their accounting platform so previous experience with this system would be advantageous. Ideally you will be coming to the end of a contract, on a short term notice or immediately available.
