Position: Commercial Trainer AssessorConstruction Professional Studies/Civil Engineering Location:Stephen Burke Construction Academy, SwadlincoteHours: Full Time - 37 hours per weekSalary:Circa £36,500 which includes market rate supplements and CPD initiativesWho are we looking forAn opportunity has arisen for a Tutor/Assessor to join our team to teach and assess across our Higher Apprenticeship provision in Construction and Civil Engineering. You will teach, assess and monitor students both in the workplace and College engaged intechnical competencies across our higher education programmes. The role will support and facilitate student learning and liaise closely with Course Leaders and Management and will require teaching, assessing and IQA of students during both theoretical andpractical situations, projects and assignments.You will hold an appropriate teaching qualification, an assessor Award; an Internal Verifier Award is also desirable, or the willingness to work towards these within the first year. You will have up to date Industry experience and have the desire to passon the skills and knowledge to a diverse client group.The post requires visits to students and employers, therefore a driving licence and access to transport is essential. You will have working knowledge of professional construction practices and site management.
