You will be working within our Bodyshop Team Structure as a part of our growing team of experts.The successful candidate will be expected to produce high quality prep work and paint spraying from start to finish, paying close attention to the job at hand & detail. Managing your own workload and working as part of a team, you will be experienced inpreparing and painting a range of makes and models of cars to Manufacturer OEM and Retail standards.What youll be doing.

  • Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager you will be involved in Preparation of the vehiclesinitial general preparation, all filler work, sanding, prep, masking ready for paint and oven, polish.
  • Spray painting vehicles using water-based paints system
  • Mixing of paint
  • Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a good match
  • Polish work for finish and Quick Fix where required
  • Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly
  • Supporting Bodyshop Manager & wider team where required
Who you are.
  • Extensive experience in the vehicle refurbishment/Smart Repair work or vehicle accident repair centre.
  • ATA and/or NVQ qualification will be an advantage but not essential if you have the skills and experience.
  • To have all painting skills, and be confident in your ability to accurately and efficiently spray a vehicle to a high quality standard.
  • Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed
  • You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work
  • You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
  • Keen eye for detail, professional mannerism and you must be able to work within a successful team
  • You must own your own guns & Air fed mask.
  • Holder of Full UK Driving Licence
