Job Description

Export Administrator - Fluency in German and English Mansfield area - hybrid working available after probation£26,500 - £36,500 depending on experienceOur client is an established, family run business based in the north area of Nottinghamshire. They are looking for an Export Customer Service Coordinator with fluency in German and English.The Export Administrator role is to provide full administrative support to overseas agents, distributors and customers. This involves dealing with a wide variety of customer enquiries, order processing, quotations, despatch, and all aspects of customerservice.To provide a translation service as required, both oral and written. Working in collaboration with other departments such as: Credit Control, Stock Control and the Warehouse. Interaction at all levels within the company is required for the Export CustomerService Coordinator role, but most importantly with team members, export management and Company Directors.Person Specification for the German Export Administrator:

  • Fluency in German and English is essential (if English is not mother tongue it must be near native) and another language would be beneficial but not essential.
  • IT Competent
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and respond to time frames and deadlines
  • Customer service and administration experience is essential
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Have meticulous attention to detail
  • The candidate must demonstrate a professional and mature attitude with the capability to work independently using initiative
  • Ability to perform under pressure and remain calm
Key Duties:
  • Accurate Order Processing
  • Ensuring queries from Agents/Customers are resolved efficiently
  • Processing credit & return requests
  • Organising return shipments from distributors
  • Confirming delivery date information and keeping Agents/Customers updated
  • with backorder information
  • Ensuring despatch of orders with correct documentation
  • Chasing parcels with carriers
  • Providing feedback on product and service/operations to Export Office Manager
  • Confirming special price agreements
  • Following through sales enquiries from new contacts
  • Coordinating visits from agents/distributors
  • Maintaining and updating orderly filing systems
  • Translation of letters/documents/promotional material into relevant foreign languages.
  • Interpreting during visits from overseas Agents and if required overseas
Other Information:
  • The core hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm - with flexibility on either side of this.
