Job Description

Job Title: HGV TechnicianLocation: Sutton in Ashfield, NottinghamshireWorking Hours: Night shift 4 days on 4 days offSalary: Up to £58,000 DOEJoin my clients transport organisation in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire as a HGV Technician for their night shift. My is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to ensure the maintenance and repair of their fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs during night shifts.
  • Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of HGVs.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow manufacturers guidelines and company procedures for all repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete accurate paperwork and records for all work carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop
Experience essential for this role:
  • Level 3 qualified in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, preferably in a similar role.
  • Possession of an IRTEC licence is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis.
