Small, established but expanding IT solution provider seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior IT Support technician / Technical Manager to join the team. We specialize in providing IT support services to the education sector and SMB’s across Surrey and Greater London. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical support for a wide range of technologies, including hardware, software, networking and cloud services as well maintaining customer relations and leading a team of technicians.The Role: The role requires daily travel to customer sites within Surrey, however occasional home working to provide remote support to customers using remote login software, and travel to other surrounding areas is also expected. A full UK driving license is essential.A typical day would include working onsite at different customers premises maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting all areas of their IT infrastructure responding to support tickets and leading other technicians to meet customer SLAs.Skills: The successful candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills, with high competency in administering Active Directory Domains and Microsoft 365, with excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.They must be willing to travel between client sites, manage their time well and demonstrate excellent communication skills. They must be able to work to deadlines, either independently, or working alongside and leading a small team of technicians. They must be confident working directly with clients and have strong problem-solving and organization skills.A good working knowledge administering the following technologies will be advantageous.
