It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThe Regional QSC NPI Lead will support a highly complex range of Innovation projects along with interactions with senior stakeholders internally and externally.Key Responsibilities:

  • Sitting within the EU Technical Team, lead all QSC related activities to deliver the EU Innovation pipeline, generating the supply plan for NPI, focusing on product sourcing, manufacturing strategy, Cost of Goods, Capital Investment and risk management.
  • Lead a new pilot on Innovation Acceleration looking at faster innovation delivery, taking a leading role in the search, selection and qualification of potential new CMOs to support our ambitious innovation targets.
  • Within the Acceleration pilot, partner with dedicated R&D/regulatory resource. Report to and be sponsored by the EMEA L Leadership team (BU GM and Strategic Portfolio Management Head)
  • Partner with a specific Business Units (BU), with a dotted reporting line to the QSC lead, to act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for timely assessment of new ideas.
  • Project management expertise, establishing the core e2e milestones and ensuring stage gate deliverables are met, driving use of the commercial brief and leveraging the CEI tools.
  • Sourcing strategy development and recommendation in line with CMO, global teams and EU supply chain.
  • Ownership of the IMR (Innovation and Maintenance Review) for specific business unit, maintaining alignment with thresholds and managing SKU proliferation.
  • Core member of the BU PMB representing the supply chain and supporting the QSC BU lead.
  • Partner with commercial and R&D within the project core team and lead the QSC sub team.
  • Review development against QbD and DtV deliverables, leveraging the Technical Review Boards and ensuring projects passing though stage gates are robust for launch.
Qualifications and skillsEssential- BS science, engineering, logistics Degree with specialization in Science, engineering, procurement, logistics- Typically 10 years’ experience in FMCG/ pharmaceuticals / manufacturing/ SC management:
  • Project Management
  • Experience managing a team of cross functional expertise
  • Demonstrated leadership in a global, matrixed environment within a pharmaceutical/ FMCG industry.
  • Business acumen to drive continuous improvement and interact with internal and external company executive teams on behalf of or within Haleon
  • Assessment of new suppliers and product offerings (financial, technical, Due Diligence)
Preferred
  • MS/ MBA
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory guidelines, particularly related to NPI.
  • Expert at pulling resource and working with other areas of the business (global regulatory, analytical, QA, Supply logistics, finance etc) to assist teams in executing required activities.
  • Leadership and/or consultation in assessment of new ideas demonstrating strong business case for introduction or justification to terminate.
  • Able to communicate complex technical matters in a manner that clearly defines the issue and risk to senior, non-technical audience as well as communicate in depth to expert technical teams for peer review and governance.
  • Able to interact across all levels in the organization including line operations staff and executive level management across multiple countries within the region.
