It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThe Sustainable Packaging Innovation, Future Horizons, is an experienced SME position to drive contribution to our Technology Platform Roadmaps (either Bottles / Tubes / Blisters / Flexibles) and accountability for the H3 flagship development projects managementand delivery.The objective of the platform TPR is to transform clear thought leadership and vision into innovation impact in G1 innovation pipeline submissions and commitments. The work product is anticipated and accelerated pre-development of new-to-Haleon, new-to-category,new-to-industry packaging building blocks.The role fosters strong collaboration between R&D Packaging and the Packaging procurement team in order to jointly deliver externally leveraged development projects. An ability to effectively communicate and influence ‘first client’ relationships in thereceiving Category or BU R&D teams. Managing seamless partnership with the broader R&D organization, Design, IP, Sustainability, QSC.Role Responsibilities

  • TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM ROADMAPS Contribute to a) strengthen b) operationalise strategic packaging TPRs across key platform (Bottles/Tubes/Blisters)
  • 2030 BIG BETS Select, predevelop and derisk ‘big bet’ H3 innovation for the given platform(s) of responsibility to contribute to 2030 sustainable packaging goals
  • ECOSYSTEM deliver through external R&D teams to maximise the leverage of T123 suppliers
  • INDUSTRY CONSORTIA deliver through and influence industry-leading consortia
  • GOVERNANCE Manage ‘Lead investor’ relationships internally with the BUs to land work product into the BU inno pipeline
  • FIT FOR PURPOSE CAPABILITY PLANNING Contribute to Supplier Relationship Management and leverage capability planning for the H3 priority projects: internal vs external, physical vs digital, microlab to pilot scale up
  • EXTERNAL VISIBILITY drive presence and influence of Haleon R&D Packaging & thought leadership amongst our peer group for the given platform(s) of responsibility.
Why youBasic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 7+ Years experience in FMCG Packaging Development (Consumer or Healthcare preferred) with end-to-end development experience.
  • A strong track record in project and/or program management and delivery of innovation.
  • Experience in complex upstream developments (Technical, Design, Innovation) and their enablers (Joint development ecosystems, Strategic Alliances).
  • Experience in managing technology or innovation roadmaps preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Science or PhD
  • High level of project management capability, ability to define work packages, detailed development plans, deliver OTIF and manage risk proactively
  • Capable to operate autonomously independent judgement and execution, anticipating, interpreting and resolving complex organisational opportunities
  • Support development of functional strategies for the Technology Platforms and drives strategy implementation into project level
  • Guides stakeholders in resolving complex issues in specialised area based on existing or new solutions
  • Expert in-depth knowledge and impact into the rdpk CoP
