About the rolePackaging Open Innovation Manager applies and continually improves the R&D packaging Open Innovation capabilities in order to enable new-to-Haleon, new-to-category / new-to industry packaging building blocks to be identified, anticipated and pre-developed.These building blocks in turn underpin our ability to hit our 2030 sustainable packaging goals and growth targets.This role focusses on the Scout-Attract-Evaluate-Map-Select-Connect cycle for emerging technologies and solutions with an H2 H3 horizon vs clearly defined strategic priority areas.The final objective is the formal integration of an identified solution (from a tightly managed front end funnel) into an approved TPR project or directly into the scope of a Category or BU innovation project via a PMB or equivalent.Fosters strong collaboration between R&D Packaging and their counterpart(s) in the Packaging procurement team in order to ensure shared priorities and efficient delivery of objectives.An ability to influence and drive results through partner R&D packaging teams. Managing seamless partnership with the broader FHS&T and R&D organization, Innovation, Design, Legal & IP, Sustainability, QSC.An experienced SME capable of engaging at R&D packaging leadership level. Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.Role Responsibilities
