A leading promotional medical communications agency are looking for a Principal Medical Writer to join them on a permanent basis!The agency are an award-winning, fully-integrated medical communications agency who aim to stand out by strategically aligning promotion, medical education and PR. They are undergoing a fantastic period of growth, have recently restructured, and are currently rebranding – as such, this opportunity marks a really key hire for them, at a really exciting time.Principal Medical Writer RoleThis agency needs an energetic, creative PMW to come in and provide high-level medical writing support within accounts, as well as achieve writing excellence across therapy areas and the communication mix. They want someone who has experience that spans a number of therapeutic areas and deliverables, enabling them to achieve their goal of creating unique campaigns that raise awareness, build brands, and deliver meaningful experiences for healthcare professionals, patients and the wider community. Due to the promotional nature of this agency, they would be equally happy to look at Medical Copywriters with a high science background as they would be Medical Writers with plenty of promotional experience.Principal Medical Writer Requirements- 5+ years of experience in a medical communications or an equivalent environment- Educated to at least degree-level in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences (a higher degree would be an advantage but not essential)- Managerial/leadership experience- Promotional experienceThis role can be salaried between £55,000 and £70,000 per annum for the right candidate, depending on experience.
