It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleHaleon is focusing on introducing streamlined and simplified processes and ways of working, increased automation and placing work in regional and global hubs to build resiliency, capacity, and capability in the organisation to focus on delivering EverydayHealth with Humanity.We are on a multi-year journey to move into functional shared services and are laying the foundations for a potential future business services model. The shared services are housed in our Global Capability Centre in India and threeRegional hubs to provide support across languages and time zones.The role is accountable for the HR partnership to the GBS/Hubs leader on this journey to shape strategy, bringing people, organisaiton and culture expertise to the short- & long-term plans. This will include ensuring that we leverage consolidated capabilities,create a compelling place to work that is attractive and develops talent and that the organisation delivers on the financial and effectiveness goals. They will take direct accountability for HR leadership of our GCC and the hubs and will work across the businessand functional matrix to shape and execute plans to bring multiple functions into a functional shared services model. They are responsible for integrating the people and organisation plans each function has developed, working with the leader to identify earlysynergies, and ensuring a coherent transition plan across functions as the changes from different functions impact BUs and as work is received into the GCC and hubs.In tandem the role will play the lead HR partnership role in shaping and moving towards the definition of the end state business services/hub strategy, including assessing the location strategy – leveraging expertise from within and externally. They will playa key role, alongside finance and the GBS and functional leaders, in building the strategy, business case for change and roadmap to establish the model.They will play a direct partnership role into the already established Global Finance Services organisation.Key responsibilities

  • Partners with the business leadership to build the strategy and roadmap towards a future business services model that meets the needs of the business, driving cost synergies and enhancing the employee experience. Leading the external benchmarking and outsidein insights to ensure Haleon’s hubs remain attractive places to join and stay.
  • Provides HR leadership and execution required for the transition of resources from multiple functions into GCC and hubs, ensuring that the locations are set up to receive and stand up services in line with the roadmap and that change is well managed.
  • Leads the hubs and in partnership with functional leaders to embed Haleon’s culture and purpose, embedding performance management capability and industry leading Health and Wellbeing, resulting in a high performing, engaging and inclusive environment wherea diverse employee population can thrive and can realise their potential.
  • Drive talent management, building an high performing diverse organisation and securing a strong diverse leadership pipeline. Provide coaching and advice to leaders to continually improve leadership and management capailbity and performance.
  • Build workforce plans that secure the capability required for both the short & long term, putting in place both build and buy strategies. Working with CoEs to provide the resources and support for employees to grow and with talent acquisition externallyto bring in high calibre talent.
  • Manage the orgnaisation effectiveness principles to ensure we have teams, with clear accountability and empowerment in roles for outcomes
  • Lead the HR team in the hubs, with direct accountability for HRBPs in the hubs and in bringing together the cross-HR team that delivers

  • Proven experience of leading functional transformation into a global business services model with equivalence to a £10-20Bn organisation with a global footprint across multiple countries and c. 25,000 employees
  • Builds the people, organisation and culture strategy and roadmap for change that will deliver future success, building the foundations today that will enable future effectiveness and efficiency, bringing in relevant external best practices to acceleratechange
  • Strong and broad HR experience in establishing new locations – ranging through change management, talent acquisition and retention, employer branding and reward.
  • Is bold in moving things forward – expert at diagnosis of business needs and pulling that into people and organisation plans that. Demonstrating clear results in engagement, simplification, effectiveness and cost.
  • Breaks down barriers, successfully working across boundaries, to integrate multiple agendas and drive results in a matrix organisation
  • Demonstrate influential and adaptable style of leadership and maintain integrity when dealing with complex and significantly difficult situations arising from risk, issue and change management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of partnering multiple hubs and international teams, creating a positive and inclusive environment where diversity is valued and people have feel a sense of belonging
