Job Description

The RoleA brand new role in an evolving finance function resulting in a need for more financial discipline, support of senior stakeholders, continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the FP&A Manager you will work with senior budget holders across functions,including senior executives.Key Responsibilities

  • Actively work hand-in hand with stakeholders to understand their businesses realities. Evaluate, validate, and establish annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts for multiple functions.
  • Business partnering with the functional teams by providing actionable insight to support improvements in their financial performance.
  • Responsible for collating, challenging, understanding, and posting accruals (including those relating to intercompany recharges) for your assigned functions.
  • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet accounts and ensuring that all reconciling items are investigated and cleared down on a timely basis.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary on actual versus budget/rolling forecasts to generate and communicate tangible and useful insights that address real business issues. Proactively work with the business to continuously review, understand,and drive improved financial performance.
  • Assisting in Group Reporting/Consolidation and Cashflow
  • Assisting in Developing and maintaining the Anaplan model for forecasting and budgeting & assisting in budget holder reporting
  • Support meeting all internal and external deadlines, along with all compliance needs including month end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and year end statutory reporting.
  • Develop the FBP role and identify areas for change / improvement across all areas to ensure a high-quality service to senior stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • At least 3-5 years of progressive professional financial management experience within the large corporate environment
  • Able to manage heavy workload & strict deadlines.
  • Analytical mind and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to evaluate alternatives and drive decision making based on data and financial fundamentals.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills to build financial models and automated reporting mechanisms, as well as methods to consolidate information where needed.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills to work effectively across the organization, including with senior stakeholders at several levels.
  • To be successful, this role will need to work effectively across the functions with senior budget holders.
  • An advanced financial acumen will be critical in quickly evaluating complex and dynamic financial information and be able to synthesize for key stakeholders.
  • Approach challenges and problems with a detailed and logical mindset.
  • Work well under time pressure and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of output.
