Job Description

IT SupportLocation: Sunbury on ThamesSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + BenefitsMy exciting client based in Sunbury on Thames is currently recruiting for a new IT Support position. You will be primarily responsible for installing, operating and supporting approved software and hardware systems to ensure that user requirements are met.Responsibilities:

  1. Installs and tests computer software and hardware systems as requested.
  2. Maintains hardware and software systems for all internal users.
  3. Resolve all First level support requests from the IT Helpdesk system in a timely and efficient manner, according to established MIS protocols.
  4. Monitors and maintains the Kingston Phone system.
  5. Analyse and report on support calls within the Helpdesk system to trend underlying problems.
  6. Maintains inventory and asset records for computer and other related equipment. Assists in the replacement of computers and/or other related equipment as necessary.
  7. Follows-up with users to ensure that the MIS system is meeting their needs and recommends business and systems solutions to department management.
Experience and Skills:Strong knowledge of computer systems, software imaging and encryption is required. including knowledge of Windows OS and Windows-based applications.Knowledge of Office365, Mitel MiVoice Business and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is beneficial.Working knowledge of general networking protocol (TCP/IP, SFTP, SSL, LDAP, SIP) and related utilities for troubleshooting issues.Experience in desktop and laptop support is preferredStrong communication skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsAbility to cooperate with others in a team environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to meet deadlines
