Calling all Supply Chain Managers!If you are an experienced Manager with experience of working in an FMCG/FMLG, production or a manufacturing environment and overseeing both Supply Chain and Warehouse teams then we have an incredible opportunity to work for one of, if not THE most well-establishedorganisation in East Anglia. One that has experienced considerable growth and is forward-thinking in its attitude, whilstensuring that it never forgets its roots and what got it to being the best in the business.My client is seeking someone to lead and develop the Supply Chain team to drive the current and future manufacturing and sustainability requirements of the business and their customers, developing and maintaining strong two-way supplier relationships and achievingoptimum service levels.You will be responsible for people engagement, strategic planning, supplier performance, materials purchasing, technical specification, product development, stock control, materials quality control and testing, KPIs, audits, budget management, development,and more. Ethical trading and sustainability is high on their priority list so experience in this would be advantageous. But not essential. We are seeking someone who is dynamic, self-sufficient, open to changes with a strong personality and a keenness to get involved and make a difference. You will have experience of purchasing, MRP, and people leadership within a relevant industrial environmentand possess a strong commercial acumen. You will be able to influence, articulate, and be a strong communicator with an executive presence who is comfortable with negotiations and supplier engagement. In addition, you will also be analytical and a collaborativeteam worker. You will also have experience of supplier auditing and be prepared to travel several times per year, both in the UK and overseas. A CIPS qualification Level 4 or above is desirable but not essential if you have the right time-served experienceand a strong working knowledge of Excel is also a requirement. A driving licence and your own transport is essential.The package:
