We are an independent dental practice offering a full range of care in NHS and private dentistry. A small but supportive group, valuing teamwork and striving for positive patient experiences.The role of the dental nurse is key within any dental practice, we fully appreciate the importance of this role and want to ensure staff job satisfaction is considered a priority.We are looking for reliable committed team members who in return will get support to develop and grow into roles they are passionate about. We would prefer a qualified nurse, however we are also happy to support a trainee through on the job training as wellas the external course qualification process if they are committed to the role. Salary is dependent on experience and roles and responsibilities. GDC registration/Indemnity for qualified nurses required. Additional Incentive - Paid for by practice after minimum 1 year employment. DBS checks required on employment completed by the practice. Full and Part-time opportunities available. Mon-Fri.Main Duties: Providing chair-side assistance for Dentist Ensuring infection Control upheld throughout practice and with equipment/surgery management Ensure CQC requirements are met, following local and national policies. Assisting in records, impressions, or x-rays Reception Duties as needed, such as Greeting and welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, processing payments and billing and maintaining patient records.ExperienceDesirable : Have understanding of dentistry or other patient care sectors. Have previous experience in patient care, or show dedication to prioritising patient care. Be patient focused with excellent communication skills. Be personable and a proactive individual who enjoys a varied role. Be punctual and organised. Be pro-active and motivated.
