Start Date: Nov 2020Pay: KR5Lansdowne Primary School are looking for a Parent Support Advisor to support its school community.The PSA being a front of house role, will be expected to work as part of the front office and in collaboration with other staff members. You will form an integral part of the school team, one in which you can make a real difference to the lives of our children and families. We are looking for someone flexible, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch-in, going above and beyond when necessary to support both our children and families as well as colleagues.The successful candidate will require relevant experience of working with families, including parents, pupils, professionals and agencies. It would be desirable to have knowledge of inter-agency provision that support schools and families. The candidate should be able to work in a collaborative way, with the Head teacher and and other school staff, to manage the diverse needs of pupils and families.We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional inter-personal skills, communications skills and an understanding of the needs or children and young people. We need someone diligent, organised and efficient as it is essential that an effective record keeping system is maintained and accurate records are kept. Training will be provided to support where required. The successful candidate will also be open to supporting the wider Trust hub (other schools within the Swale area so a driving license and own transport is necessary)This position is 22.5 hours per week, initially working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
