Job Description

Job Summary:Entrepreneur running an independent consultancy business (specialising in Sustainability and Maritime operations) in addition to a number of trustee roles and not for profit businesses,is seeking a part-time (22.5 hours a week minumum) personal assistantto work on a hybrid working arrangement. Due to increased success and new contracts, the client requires a reliable, intuitive PA who can help streamline operations and maintain administrative organisation which will aid the business to continue to thrive,while supporting directors activity. The company operates in a shared office in Strood but accomodates remote working.Duties:The below duties are aspects the client is currently having to undertake themselves and is keen to delegate to a confident qualified PA. These will include but not limited to:

  • Diary/task Management
  • Coordinating personal and business calendars to avoid conflicts
  • Meeting arrangements (Face to face and virtual)
  • Travel arrangements and accommodation
  • Taking meeting minutes (or writing up from dictation)
  • Invoice and product tracking
  • Issuing contracts to clients (not responsible for formulating)
  • Event organisation
  • Proof reading emails on behalf of the client (industry knowledge not required)
  • Data entry
There may be the occasional requirement to assist the client with private affairs such as:
  • Organising a dog walker depending on work diary
  • Reorganising diary conflicts
  • Liaising with contractors/obtaining quotes etc
Candidate requirementsThis is a hybrid role however it would be beneficial for a candidate to be relatively local to Kent to allow for face to face working as well as joining client meetings.

  • Strong communication skills and confident in picking up the phone and speaking to 3rd parties when required
