Social Worker who is Level 3 Qualified,withknowledge of Adult Care legislation and procedures and experience of CHC DSTs and mental capacity assessments is required to join an Adult Social Care Team based in Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands.Candidates will need a Social Worker qualification registered with Social Work EnglandSALARY: £37,336 - £40,221 per annum + £3,000 market supplement + BenefitsLOCATION: Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands with the opportunity for hybrid workingJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week - flexible and agile working** Multiple Positions Available **Please note: The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check (cost will be paid for by the organisation). Social Work England registration is also paid for by the organisation.A full driving licence is required in order to travel around the county.JOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for an experienced Social Worker who is Level 3 Qualified,withknowledge of Adult Care legislation and procedures and experience of CHC DSTs and mental capacity assessments.Working as a Social Worker you will carry out triage of new Safeguarding Adults referrals and respond to complex and high-risk adult safeguarding enquiries to ensure that the principles of the Care Act and specifically Making Safeguarding Personal are adheredto.As the Social Worker you will promote and contribute to the safety and well-being of all adults at risk ad to prevent harm and reduce the rise of abuse or neglect to adults with Care and support needs through the implementation of the organisation’s safeguardingadults’ practices and procedures and multi-agency risk management.DUTIESYour duties and responsibilities asSocial Worker will include:

Assess the social care needs of adult residents who are in need of community care services

Take referrals and process according to Departmental guidelines, standards and policies

Triage referrals and where appropriate provide a rapid response where enquiries indicate a level of risk

Work in an integrated way with partners including health and colleagues across the organisation

In addition, the organisation can offer manageable caseloads, with reflective peer practice, CPD sessions and regular 1 to 1 supervision.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

Knowledge of Adult Care legislation and procedures

Experience of working with adults in a social work or health environment

Experience of CHC DSTs, mental capacity assessments, DoLs and best interest decision making
