Are you a multi skilled engineer with an electrical bias and a background in maintenance of machinery within a manufacturing We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an animal feed manufacturer based in Burton-on-Trent. Salary £30-38k per annum dependent on experience working Mon-Fri 6am-2pm however flexibility is required around hours in busy periods. As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be working in a small team of 4, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults and provide maintenance to production equipment and premises, therefore industrial and machinery experience is essential. The work will consist of providing breakdown cover and completing planned preventative maintenance on a busy feed production site, maintaining plant machinery including mixers, shrink wrappers, belt and roller conveyors, robotics and more. Some boiler knowledge would be advantageous. Applicants must be reliable, efficient, have a flexible attitude to work content and be capable of working in a team and without supervision.It is essential you have worked in a similar Maintenance Engineer role with an electrical bias but good mechanical knowledge. You will come from a manufacturing or production environment with previous knowledge of maintaining machinery on a high volume manufacturing site. Your own transport is required for this role also as it is a large site.
