Flourish Education are working with a Secondary School in North Worcestershire for 11-16-year-olds who are currently recruiting for an Music Teacher to join their team in early June 2022 on a part time basis working 4 days a week. A successful candidate will join the schools expanding Music department working specifically across key stage 3 and 4 but knowledge of Key Stage 5 is desirable, this role will also involve covering a couple of lessons of RE and PSHE. Whole class teaching responsibilities will be required alongside form tutor duties and continued professional development will be provided. This Music Teacher position is starting from Jun 2022 and is a part time maternity cover. To apply to this Music Teacher role, you will need the following: _ QTS in Music (NQTs are encouraged to apply) _ Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School _ Excellent subject knowledge of music _ A strong reference from a recent school Responsibilities as a Music Teacher: . Whole class teaching responsibilities including planning and marking . Driving improvements in GCSE Music grade improvements . Monitoring and ensuring pupil progress .
