Have you had experience working as an educational, activities or engagement officer working with vulnerable adults Do you hold the necessary skills and experience to inform, empower, coach, and inspire people to move forward positively with their livesIf you do, then we have a fantastic opportunity for a strength based, Wellbeing Worker to work within our male only 24/7 Homeless Centres in Liverpool.In collaboration with our Support Coaches and Project Manageryou will motivate and engage vulnerable malesthrough developing and delivering trauma aware, strengths-based programmes of learning, activity, and engagement to assist with the overall aim of residents achieving independence and recovery from homelessness. Our service offers psychologically informed ways of supporting and working with clients which is assisted by a Senior Assistant Psychologist who works along all on-site staff to ensure that work undertaken is trauma aware, focussed and bespoke to individualsaccessing New Starts support. The Wellbeing Worker will also be supported and included within this context via accessing reflective practice and a series of psychological training sessions delivered in-houseThe Well-being Worker post will operate on a part time basis, working 30 hours per week. The shifts will consist of earlies and lates across a four-day period per week and will include weekends on a rota basis. In return, you will receive an hourly rateof£11.22 per hour.New Start is a family-run, not-for-profit organisation, providing residential and supported accommodation services for vulnerable adults, families, children, and young people. We deliver a diverse range of homelessness projects and temporary housing solutions,helping some of the most complex and disadvantaged groups across Merseyside.
