Job Description

Stores Person – Stocksbridge Clemence Rogers are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join a well-established business based in Stocksbridge.Role Type: Temporary to PermanentSalary: circa £22,000Hours: Mon – Thur 7:30am – 5pm Fri – 8am – 12:30pmLocation: Doncaster Areas of responsibility:

  • Control and order stock.
  • Make regular stock checks
  • Replace stock as necessary
  • Purchase the most cost-effective parts/supplies by comparing prices
  • Check parts delivered are correct
  • Deal with deliveries and returns promptly.
  • Allocate parts to particular jobs or to stock on ordering
  • Keep the stock room tidy, safe and in good order.
  • Liaise with members of staff and management
  • Control of safety equipment /PPE
    • Candidates should be able to demonstrate
  • Previous knowledge of stores preferable
  • Computer skills important.
  • Knowledge of working in a vehicle/ automotive background
  • Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
